AGROFEST Returns: Cinema, Music & Magic Under the Platres Sky
This August, the mountains of Platres will once again come alive with the sounds of music, the glow of cinema, and the energy of one of Cyprus’ most loved summer gatherings. For its fifth consecutive year, AGROFEST is back — promising three days of culture, celebration, and connection in one of the island’s most enchanting locations.
Set against the backdrop of Platres Arena, the festival opens on Friday, August 8th, with a one-night-only open-air cinema experience. Guests will watch a feature film (to be announced soon) under the brilliance of the Perseids meteor shower, where the magic of the night sky becomes part of the show. Screening begins at 19:30, inviting audiences to settle in with friends, blankets, and food truck favorites for an unforgettable summer night.
The celebration continues with a two-day music festival:
- Saturday, August 9th – Άσπρο Πάτο Greek Nights
A vibrant Greek party featuring a mix of modern hits and classic tunes, powered by the energy of ΑΣΠΡΟ ΠΑΤΟ γκρικ νάιτς. Starting at 15:00, the arena transforms into a dancefloor where tradition meets the present. - Sunday, August 10th – Kaseta Retro Nights
Nostalgia takes center stage as Kaseta Retro Event Cy delivers the ultimate throwback soundtrack. From timeless bangers to disco anthems, it’s a night dedicated to carefree dancing and good vibes, starting at 15:00.
Across all three days, street food and food trucks will keep festival-goers fueled, offering everything from quick bites to hearty meals — the perfect pairing to long afternoons and late nights in the mountains.
