Επισκεφτείτε τη μεγαλύτερη ρομποτική διοργάνωση στην Κύπρο!- Visit the largest robotics event in Cyprus!

Επισκεφτείτε τον 5ο Παγκύπριο Διαγωνισμό  Ρομποτικής Robotex που θα πραγματοποιηθεί το Σαββατοκυρίακο 25 και 26 Ιουνίου 2022 (10:00 π.μ. – 4:00 μ.μ), στο Αθλητικό Κέντρο του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου.

Το φεστιβάλ ρομποτικής Robotex Cyprus 22 που διοργανώνει το Cyprus Computer Society, θα τιμήσει με την παρουσία της η Εξοχότατη Πρόεδρος της Βουλής των Αντιπροσώπων κα Αννίτα Δημητρίου.

Στο διαγωνισμό θα συμμετέχουν 625 ρομποτίστριες και ρομποτιστές, μαθητές/τριες, φοιτητές/τριες και ενήλικες από όλη την Κύπρο για να διαγωνιστούν με τα ρομπότ τους στις 20 διαφορετικές προκλήσεις.

Η εκδήλωση θα είναι ανοικτή τόσο για τους γονείς, συγγενείς και φίλους των διαγωνιζομένων όσο και για το ευρύ κοινό που θα έχει την ευκαιρία να παρακολουθήσει ρομποτικές μαχες και να επισκεφτεί εκθέσεις ρομποτικών κατασκευών.

Συγκεκριμένα, το Σάββατο 25/6 η σειρά  LINE FOLLOWING εμπλουτίζεται από πίστες με διάφορα εμπόδια τα οποία πρέπει τα ρομπότ να αποφύγουν, στο διαγωνισμό ΜΑΖΕ τα ρομπότ θα προσπαθήσουν να βρουν την έξοδο του λαβύρινθου, όπως ο μυθικός Θησέας και στο ράλλυ FOLKRACE πολλά ρομπότ θα αγωνιστούν ταυτόχρονα σε ειδική πίστα.

Την Κυριακή 26/6, στη μονομαχία SUMO που βασίζεται στη γνωστή ιαπωνέζικη πάλη, τα ρομπότ θα προσπαθούν να εκτοπίσουν το ένα το άλλο από την πίστα. Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει επίσης το διαγωνισμό COLOUR PICKING και το νέο GIRLS FIRE-FIGHTING (καταπολέμηση πυρκαγιών) που απευθύνεται μόνο σε κορίτσια με στόχο την προσέλκυση περισσότερων γυναικών στους τομείς STEAM.

Και τις δύο ημέρες της διοργάνωσης Robotex, μαθητές δημοτικού θα παρουσιάσουν έργα Εκπαιδευτικής Ρομποτικής με το περιβαλλοντικό θέμα της ΔΙΑΧΕΙΡΙΣΗΣ ΑΠΟΒΛΗΤΩΝ.

Στο χώρο θα υπάρχουν διαδραστικά ενημερωτικά κιόσκια με «γλυκειές» εκπλήξεις και άλλες δράσεις ενώ το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει μουσικο-χορευτικές παρεμβάσεις!

Σημειώνεται ότι οι νικήτριες ομάδες δικαιούνται να συμμετέχουν στην αντίστοιχη παγκόσμια διοργάνωση στην Εσθονία, όπου η Κύπρος στο παρελθόν είχε σαρώσει τα βραβεία!

Σχετικά με τη διόργανωση

Με συνδιοργανωτές το Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου, τον Οργανισμό Νεολαίας και τo IET Cyprus το Robotex Cyprus θα γιορτάσει τα «5α γενέθλια του» ως το μεγαλύτερο φεστιβάλ εκπαιδευτικής ρομποτικής στην Κύπρο.

Η διοργάνωση τελεί υπό την αιγίδα του Προέδρου της Κυπριακής Δημοκρατίας κου Νίκου Αναστασιάδη και εγκρίθηκε από το Υπουργείο Παιδείας, Πολιτισμού, Αθλητισμού και Νεολαίας, το Ψηφιακό Πρωταθλητή, που υπάγεται στο Υφυπουργείο Έρευνας, Καινοτομίας και Ψηφιακής Πολιτικής και το Επιστημονικό Τεχνικό Επιμελητήριο Κύπρου (ΕΤΕΚ).

Ο διαγωνισμός Robotex Cyprus 22 θα υλοποιηθεί σε συνεργασία με την Cyta ως στρατηγικό συνεργάτη του CCS,  την εταιρία XM ως technology partner και την Τράπεζα Κύπρου ως Youth Supporter. Στη διοργάνωση συμμετέχουν επίσης η ΕΚΟ και η Exness ως πλατινένιοι χορηγοί, το Πανεπιστήμιο Νεάπολις Πάφος ως χρυσός χορηγός και στηρίζουν δεκάδες άλλες επιχειρήσεις καθώς και όλα τα ιδιωτικά πανεπιστήμια.

Visit the largest robotics event in Cyprus!

Visit the 5th Robotex Pancyprian Robotics Competition that will take place on the weekend of June 25 and 26, 2022 (10:00 am – 4:00 pm), at the Sports Center of the University of Cyprus.

The Robotex Cyprus 22 robotics festival, organized by the Cyprus Computer Society, will be honored by the presence of her Excellency the President of the House of Representatives, Ms. Annita Dimitriou.

625 robotists, pupils, students and adults from all over Cyprus will attend the competition (with their robots) in order to compete in the 20 different challenges.

The event will be open to the competitors’ parents, relatives and friends as well as to the general public that will have the opportunity to enjoy robotic battles and visit exhibitions of robotics projects.

Specifically, on Saturday 25/6 the LINE FOLLOWING series is enriched by fields with various obstacles that the robots must avoid, in the MAZE competition the robots will try to find the exit, like the mythical Theseus and in the FOLKRACE rally many robots will compete at the same time in an innovative platform.

On Sunday 26/6, in SUMO based on the famous Japanese wrestling, the robots will try to displace each other from the field. The competition includes the COLOUR PICKING challenge and the new GIRLS FIRE-FIGHTING which aims to attract more women to the STEAM sector.

On both Robotex days, p rimary school students will present EDUCATIONAL ROBOTICS projects on the environmental theme of Waste Management.

In the event area there will be interactive information kiosks with “sweet” surprises and other activities while the program includes music and dance interventions!

It is noted that the winning teams are entitled to participate in the respective international completion in Estonia, where Cyprus collected awards in the past!

With the University of Cyprus, the Youth Board and the IET Cyprus as co-organizers, Robotex Cyprus 22 will celebrate its “5th birthday” as the largest educational robotics festival in Cyprus, established in 2017.
