New Head Offices for USB Bank in Engomi, Nicosia

On Monday, November 27, 2017, the new building housing the Head Offices of USB Bank Plc opened for business.

Welcoming the Bank’s staff to the new Headquarters, Mr Andreas Theodorides, Senior Executive Director of USB BANK, said the building has been fully restructured on the basis of modern specifications, with a view to creating a pleasant but functional work environment, offering every convenience for staff and, above all, the Bank’s customers.

“I hope the new offices become a hub of creation, where all of us together, through close co-operation, with responsibility and respect, can face the upcoming challenges and give all of us and our customers new value and prospects,” Mr Theodorides added.

In 2015 USB Bank reached an agreement for acquiring 75% of Whitemoon Center Building in order to house its new head offices while, the remaining 25% is owned by G.N. Gallery Famagusta Ltd, a member of Christofi Group.  The deal for the acquisition was rumoured to be around €10 million valuing the building circa €16 million as it included the current renovation and restructuring as part of the acquisition agreement.
