According to the newspaper “Fileleftheros” in the report of the General Auditor, all the allowances and salaries of RIK officials are included thoroughly.
Specifically, 136 officials, cost to the state 75,549 euros each, during the year 2012.
At the same time, a decrease of 0.5 % that was observed in the budget, is not due to wage cuts, but due to the retirement of senior officials
In addition, RIK employed 267 regular employees for an indefinite period and with an average employment cost of 32,131 euros.
The expenditure on shift allowances, overtime and work during the weekends and holidays, are also important since the total amount had reached 855,856 euros.
Noteworthy is the fact that an amount of more than 20,000 euros was given to only three employees, for shift allowances.
