On Thursday the President Nikos Anastasiades, who is paying an official visit to Egypt, had a meeting with the President of Egypt, Adly Mansour.
According to an official announcement, President Anastasiades, accompanied by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Energy, arrived at the Presidential Palace, where he was welcomed by President Mansour and the military contingent bestowed honours.
Afterwards the national anthems of the Republic of Cyprus and Egypt were heard.
Then, President Anastasiadis and President Mansour attended a meeting. Later, the two presidents will hold extended talks with the participation of delegations from both countries.
