At yesterday’s meeting of the Mayor of Paphos, Savvas Vergas, and the Minister of Communications, Mr. Mitsopoylos informed Mr. Vergas that Paphos will not be excluded from the liberalization of flights between Cyprus and Russia.
After contacting Russian officials to ask for clarification about the whole thing, he received assurances. As it came up, the rumors came from a Russian tour operator who wanted to benefit financially from the whole situation.
