Playtech acquires percentage of Tas in Serbia

IT powerhouse Playtech has acquired a significant percentage of Tas Bet in Serbia, a deal that was reached after the recommendation of LA Business led by Lambros Christofi.
The final amount of the deal is said to be over €4m, although no information has been disclosed on the percentage acquired by Playtech. TAS Bet is one of the oldest companies in operation in the Republic of Serbia since it started in 1997 and has a license from the Serbia state until 2024 to operate in the gaming and gambling market in the country.

Playtech is a gambling software development company founded in 1999 by Israeli billionaire, Teddy Sagi. The company provides software for online casinos, online poker rooms, online bingo games, online sports betting, scratch games, mobile gaming, live dealer games and fixed-odds arcade games online. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
