Today, the President of the Republic Mr. Nikos Anastasiades, during his visit at ELDYK camp, told the reporters ” I would like to thank the contributors of f RIK’s Channel satirical broadcast, for the accurate observation they have done regarding a language slip of mine. I would also like to thank those who have criticized me and of course apologize to people from Akaki, because due to a tongue slip I said ‘occupied Akaki’ instead of ‘occupied Zodia’.
I am deeply sorry. I’ve been to Akaki several times and I know where Akaki is and where Zodia is. People should keep in mind that I went to Morphou Gymnasium and therefore I am aware of the said locations.
